Ottó Fejes got in the 5th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Albano Alfonso handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Albano Alfonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ottó Fejes in the 6th minute of the match. Albano Alfonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Belloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niceto Montxos short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Lore Ziguenza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higinio Belloso in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albano Alfonso saved Manzalima from getting behind. Ottó Fejes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Alfonso having to interfere. Albano Alfonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ottó Fejes in the 24th minute of play. Manzalima's Albano Alfonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Carabajo in the 26th minute of play. Monitor Huáscar were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Manzalima's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paulo Fallabes took the corner. 32 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's Ottó Fejes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albano Alfonso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Albano Alfonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ottó Fejes in the 33rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Niceto Montxo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lore Ziguenza was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Niceto Montxo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Lore Ziguenza 40 minutes into the match. Constantino Carabajo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 played minutes Monitor Huáscar got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Illanes. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ottó Fejes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Monitor Huáscar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Carabajo to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute Niceto Montxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lore Ziguenza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manzalima's Albano Alfonso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Manzalima from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the match, Ottó Fejes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albano Alfonso, 1-3. In the 62ndth minute of the game Ottó Fejes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manzalima's Albano Alfonso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Monitor Huáscar's Chiquito Rico was substituted for Ottó Fejes. In the 64th minute Monitor Huáscar were awarded a corner. Paulo Fallabes went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 68th minute Niceto Montxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lore Ziguenza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Chiquito Rico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 71 minutes, Chiquito Rico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monitor Huáscar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chiquito Rico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manzalima's Koldo Guisado was substituted for Orlanda Capdevila. Monitor Huáscar's Lore Ziguenza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Montxo in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquito Rico in the 86th minute of play forced Manzalima's goalkeeper Albano Alfonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Milian Lopez heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Lore Ziguenza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niceto Montxo went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. After 95 played minutes Manzalima got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Montxo. The Monitor Huáscar players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
