Spectators: 9239 (Terracing: 6930, Seating: 2125, VIP seats: 184) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ladislao Orixe got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Bingen in the 5th minute of play forced UPAO's goalkeeper Carlos Candia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Bingen took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Candia. Carlos Candia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, UPAO's Henrico Franques got a free kick in the 12th minute. Carlos Candia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavon Pinazas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, UCV's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Orixe came free, but Özcan Yoruç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Eriberto Bingen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Candia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eriberto Bingen in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Candia saved UPAO from getting behind. Özcan Yoruç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Viteri, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Bingen in the 24th minute of play forced UPAO's goalkeeper Carlos Candia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Özcan Yoruç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Orixe in the 36th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, UPAO's Özcan Yoruç threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Orland Pose, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Bingen in the 43rd minute of play forced UPAO's goalkeeper Carlos Candia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, UCV's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Orixe came free, but Özcan Yoruç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Candia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Bingen, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The UPAO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. UCV were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eriberto Bingen to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Candia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Bingen in the 51st minute of the match. UCV's Özcan Yoruç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Orixe in the 54th minute of play. The UPAO fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when UPAO's Ladislao Orixe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Özcan Yoruç came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by UPAO's Elazar Tesillo. But to his dismay, Elazar Tesillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Özcan Yoruç didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narciso Camargo went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Carlos Candia made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Eriberto Bingen sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Eriberto Bingen could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Carlos Candia however easily saved by the left post. Ladislao Orixe scored 4-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Özcan Yoruç, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. UPAO's 邓益悦 was substituted for Egun Orozco. Carlos Candia made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Eriberto Bingen sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Candia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bixintxo Arbieto in the 77th minute of play. Danilo Viteri hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. UCV's Eyague Querendil was substituted for Pavol Zubor. Özcan Yoruç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orland Pose, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Carlos Candia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymon Alas in the 87th minute of the match. Özcan Yoruç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikifor Bozadzhiyski in the 88th minute of play. UCV's Özcan Yoruç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Orixe in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of UCV booed when UPAO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Viteri didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the UCV players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for UPAO.
