With a little luck, Santa Rita Arriba's Jorge Zambrano got control of the ball when Victor Nuñez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cheito Henríguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Urane in the 9th minute of play. Victor Nuñez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jorge Zambrano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Juan Garcia made a precise shot to the right of Cheito Henríguez. Bocas Town's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ivan Pinilla struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Jorge Zambrano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bocas Town. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Nuñez in the 22nd minute of play forced Santa Rita Arriba's goalkeeper Jorge Zambrano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Juan Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Rita Arriba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Zambrano made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Victor Nuñez sent off a good shot on target.
