Spectators: 7848 (Terracing: 5888, Seating: 1804, VIP seats: 156) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luis De Leon took the kick off in the first half of the match. A hard shot 5 in the game by Gustavo Cedeño from a close distance when the talented Ricardo Navarro managed to make a qualified save. Sabanitas F.C.'s players were relieved. Edgardo Smith might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Smith ran back to his position shaking his head. Ricardo Navarro came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Tole F.C.'s Gustavo Cedeño. But to his dismay, Gustavo Cedeño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ricardo Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Cedeño, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Gustavo Cedeño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tole F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Cedeño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Ramirez during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tole F.C. booed when Sabanitas F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustin Gutierrez charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustin Gutierrez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tole F.C. getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Agustin Gutierrez hit a great ball. Hermes Caballero kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis De Leon in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Quiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gustavo Cedeño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Cedeño to make the kick off. Ricardo Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Cedeño in the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Gustavo Cedeño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustavo Cedeño might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Cedeño ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th minute of the match Agustin Gutierrez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Navarro skillfully saved the ball. Gustavo Cedeño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ricardo Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sabanitas F.C. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Guillermo Carranza hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Sabanitas F.C.'s Felix Centella got a free kick in the 79th minute. Sabanitas F.C.'s Ricardo Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Cedeño in the 80th minute of play. After 84 played minutes Sabanitas F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Trejos. After a defensive mix-up in Sabanitas F.C.'s zone, Gustavo Cedeño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Navarro came out of the goal and Gustavo Cedeño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 87 played minutes Tole F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Gutierrez. Juan Quiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis De Leon's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Luis De Leon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Quiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Edgardo Smith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Smith, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the referee ended the match the Tole F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
