Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel De Diego started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Río Hato F.C. getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Pedro Carrillo hit a great ball. Manuel De Paredes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hector Espino having to make a save. After 16 minutes, Tomás Vergara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alanje F.C. and the Río Hato F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Alanje F.C. getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Tomás Vergara hit a great ball. Rafael Zambrano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Espino having to interfere. A hard shot 23 in the game by Rafael Zambrano from a close distance when the talented Hector Espino managed to make a qualified save. Río Hato F.C.'s players were relieved. 32 minutes into the game, Francesco Amaya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Río Hato F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alanje F.C. the free kick. After 32 played minutes Río Hato F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Amaya. The supporters of Río Hato F.C. booed when Alanje F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Morales didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute Emanuel De Diego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Espino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Espino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel De Diego in the 41st minute of play. Rolando Garcia De Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo De Paredes in the 48th minute of the match.

In the 52nd minute, Sergio Morales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Toto Posam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Zambrano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Espino having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Emanuel De Diego's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hector Espino was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Alanje F.C.'s Rafael Zambrano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hector Espino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Emanuel De Diego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Río Hato F.C.'s Hector Espino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Zambrano in the 75th minute of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Rafael Zambrano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alanje F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Zambrano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alanje F.C.'s Rolando Garcia De Paredes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Alanje F.C. from getting a goal against them. After having played for 81 minutes, Emanuel De Diego managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alanje F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel De Diego was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafael Zambrano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector Espino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel De Diego in the 87th minute of play. Hector Espino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Zambrano, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Rafael Zambrano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Espino having to interfere. In the 95th minute of the match Guillermo Mora sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Espino skillfully saved the ball. Alanje F.C. were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
