Rigoberto Murillos short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got David Chavez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. David Chavez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Totín Bultrón, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Galaxy Eleven FC's zone, Juan Castillero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Ramírez came out of the goal and Juan Castillero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Castillero struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Rigoberto Ramírez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bágala F.C.. Totín Bultrón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Chavez having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bágala F.C.'s zone, Rigoberto Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Chavez came out of the goal and Rigoberto Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Galaxy Eleven FC's Totín Bultrón got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, one of Galaxy Eleven FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Bágala F.C.. Alberto Fernández stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rigoberto Ramírez. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rigoberto Murillo got free with David Chavez in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rigoberto Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but David Chavez made a huge save. David Chavez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Totín Bultrón showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 48 minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Totín Bultrón to strike the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Totín Bultrón's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Chavez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After 85 played minutes, Galaxy Eleven FC's Antonio Calderón shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper David Chavez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Galaxy Eleven FC reached it. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Galaxy Eleven FC.
