Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The referee ignored Atalaya F.C.'s protests and gave Ennio Forte a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Colón booed when Atalaya F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio Forte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romel Zapata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calito González in the 11th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ožbej Matos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomaso Palma was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Cristian Sebastian succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 28th playminute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wojciech Rybak made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Luis Mendieta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colón and the Atalaya F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Luis Mendieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romel Zapata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ennio Forte, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute.
