Javier Castillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Victor Perez fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s protests and gave Victor Perez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Victor Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kazım Şahinhan fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colón's protests and gave Kazım Şahinhan a yellow card for diving instead. Ožbej Matoss short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Andrés Quiros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Victor Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christian Bultrón kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Juan Herbruger struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Andrés Quiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colón. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Javier Castillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Castillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romel Zapata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 37 minutes of play Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s Victor Perez was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Victor Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ožbej Matos came free, but Andrés Quiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Colón's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Castillo came free, but Romel Zapata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the game, Colón's Ožbej Matos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrés Quiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Javier Castillo made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Ožbej Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrés Quiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Mora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romel Zapata having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ožbej Matos in the 71st minute of play forced Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s goalkeeper Andrés Quiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Colón's zone, Javier Castillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romel Zapata came out of the goal and Javier Castillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ožbej Matos in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrés Quiros saved Aserrío De Gariché F.C. from getting behind. Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s Andrés Quiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Herbruger in the 85th minute of play. Andrés Quiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ožbej Matos's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. If Ožbej Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrés Quiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ožbej Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The Colón support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
