A collision led to Cañazas getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Fabio Arauz hit a great ball. After 6 played minutes Cañazas got a freekick which was hit by Martín Sánchez. Cañazas's Andrés Murillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Cañazas from getting a goal against them. After having played for 13 minutes, Alberto Jaen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Jaen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Adama Traoré slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andrés Murillo. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Adama Traoré managed to get in a good position for a shot. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Adama Traoré was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrés Murillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Cañazas's Franklin Batista got a free kick in the 25th minute. Adama Traoré received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Andrés Murillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cañazas's Fabio Arauz got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adama Traoré scored 3-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andrés Murillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40thth minute of the game Alberto Jaen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cañazas's Andrés Murillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Arauz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cañazas getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Fabio Arauz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Jaen in the 56th minute of play forced Cañazas's goalkeeper Andrés Murillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Cañazas's goal looked a bit too open when Tonni Bynge came free, but Andrés Murillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrés Murillo came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Adama Traoré. But to his dismay, Adama Traoré quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 65 minutes of play, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Tonni Bynge made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrés Murillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cañazas made a substitution. Rolando Henríguez replaced Elias Alfaro. When GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Alberto Jaen in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cañazas's goalie prevented a goal. Agustin Jaen charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 76th match minute, Cañazas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Jaen to maneuver through the defense. Cañazas's Fernando Urane was substituted for Luchito Herrera. After 77 played minutes Cañazas got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Jaen. After a defensive mix-up in Cañazas's zone, Adama Traoré stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrés Murillo came out of the goal and Adama Traoré tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. made a substitution. Sapardi Sopandi replaced Hermes Zambrano. A collision led to Cañazas getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Felix Quirós hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute, Adama Traoré made a precise shot to the right of Andrés Murillo. Cañazas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Andrés Murillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adama Traoré in the 86th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Azael Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cañazas's supporters rose to their feet, but Azael Bermudez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanasis Papadimitriou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute, Agustin Jaen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
