After 17 minutes, David Gutierrez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kaly SAN ROQUE .F.C and the Río Rita players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Kaly SAN ROQUE .F.C got a freekick which was hit by David Gutierrez. Afonsinho Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Gutierrez, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Kaly SAN ROQUE .F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Calito Arauz came free, but Andres Smith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Posam kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Río Rita's Fabio De Gracia seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fabio De Gracia the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Río Rita protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fabio De Gracia had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Río Rita! Sebastián Mendoza lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Kaly SAN ROQUE .F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Río Rita:s goal. In the 40th minute Juan Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonsinho Camargo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Río Rita's Afonsinho Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Gutierrez in the 44th minute of play. Andres Smith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giancarlo Escobar in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Perez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Kaly SAN ROQUE .F.C defense, Radul Kushlev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andres Smith. The Kaly SAN ROQUE .F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andres Smith should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute, Cesar Amaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Juan Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Radul Kushlev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Andres Smith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andres Smith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giancarlo Escobar in the 68th minute of the match. Andres Smith stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Radul Kushlev's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Felipe Posam charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Posam the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Río Rita getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Felipe Posam hit a great ball. Luis Gutierrez kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giancarlo Escobar in the 77th minute of play forced Kaly SAN ROQUE .F.C's goalkeeper Andres Smith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Garcia hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Felipe Posam took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andres Smith. Kaly SAN ROQUE .F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Radul Kushlev took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andres Smith. Andres Smith dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Río Rita's Radul Kushlev got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Kaly SAN ROQUE .F.C's Juan Perez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Afonsinho Camargo. Afonsinho Camargo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3.
