But to his dismay, Venceslas Zumiza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Lestat Futbol Club's zone, Perez Deco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Candelo came out of the goal and Perez Deco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramirez Hinojosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Luzuriaga Centeñes fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Michatroni83's protests and gave Luzuriaga Centeñes a yellow card for diving instead. 31 minutes into the game, one of Michatroni83:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Michatroni83's Hector-Luis Munguia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mendez Meleon in the 36th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Reynaldo Ansures put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Michatroni83:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lestat Futbol Club:s goal. The goalkeeper, Hector-Luis Munguia, was totally fooled by Lestat Futbol Club's Mendez Meleon, who 40 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 44th minute Ramirez Hinojosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Candelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Candelo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Perez Deco's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. If Perez Deco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xayvion Arguiso made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Michatroni83 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luzuriaga Centeñes to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 54 minutes, Perez Deco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Michatroni83's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perez Deco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Lestat Futbol Club's Diego Candelo got control of the ball when Perez Deco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lestat Futbol Club's goalkeeper Diego Candelo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Perez Deco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Xelo Aponte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hector-Luis Munguia was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Perez Deco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Diego Candelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
