Ruben Osuna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aires Mendosa's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. 14 minutes into the match, Faustino Gilavert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Osuna. AUZ F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faustino Gilavert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, AUZ F.C.'s Pablo Ron got a free kick in the 16th minute. AUZ F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Aires Mendosa scored to the left of an out of position Ruben Osuna, making the score, 2-1. Xacobo Ayala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zabal Villacorta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pavel Gabriel fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ECUANAC's protests and gave Pavel Gabriel a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ECUANAC's Pavel Gabriel got a free kick in the 27th minute. Tonio Verano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Pablo Ron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Méndez Castrillo during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of AUZ F.C. booed when ECUANAC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Méndez Castrillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruben Osuna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aires Mendosa in the 40th minute of play. Méndez Castrillo was shown his second yellow card after 43 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Méndez Castrillo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. If Silvio Dieguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zabal Villacorta to strike the kick off in the second half. Ruben Osuna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Gilavert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Martioda made a great header on ECUANAC's corner, it was just that AUZ F.C.'s Ruben Osuna managed to reach the ball for a save. If Zabal Villacorta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the game, one of AUZ F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jorge Martioda placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Xacobo Ayala made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Zabal Villacorta sent off a good shot on target. Xacobo Ayala was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pablo Ron showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 74 minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, ECUANAC's goalkeeper Xacobo Ayala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zabal Villacorta. Pablo Ron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Zabal Villacorta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over AUZ F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ECUANAC throughout the match.
