Spectators: 6684 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 0) Victoriano Cebada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cevallos Villasana in the 6th minute of the match. Unax Subijana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guerrón Nestares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Mortifagos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Iruegas to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Chatruc Mielgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guerrón Nestares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Chiches booed when Mortifagos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Camara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximiliano Claudio's late challenge caught a Chiches's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Claudio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chiches booed when Mortifagos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Claudio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Freyle scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victoriano Cebada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Chiches fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Chiches's Chatruc Mielgo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Mortifagos defense, Unax Subijana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guerrón Nestares. The Mortifagos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guerrón Nestares should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute, Unax Subijana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chatruc Mielgo in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guerrón Nestares saved Mortifagos from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chatruc Mielgo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Unax Subijana made a precise shot to the right of Guerrón Nestares. Mortifagos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Guerrón Nestares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Unax Subijana's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Chatruc Mielgo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chiches's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chatruc Mielgo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Unax Subijana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chiches's supporters rose to their feet, but Unax Subijana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guerrón Nestares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximiliano Claudio hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 4-1 became the score in the 69th minute when Unax Subijana elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Flavio Iruegas struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Victoriano Cebada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mortifagos. After a rather tough play, Mortifagos's Maximiliano Claudio got a free kick in the 74th minute. Guerrón Nestares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chatruc Mielgo in the 79th minute of play. If Unax Subijana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chatruc Mielgo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Guerrón Nestares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chiches walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
