They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 52 played minutes CD Anagumba got a freekick which was hit by Diego Camposa. Rodney Frontera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Caraduje having to interfere. A collision led to SPIDERMAN FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Arboleda Orchua hit a great ball. If Rodney Frontera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SPIDERMAN FC's Carlos-Alberto Collazo got a free kick in the 70th minute. Diego Camposa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Caraduje having to interfere. Rodney Frontera might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patricio Caraduje. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 81 minutes, Arboleda Orchua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SPIDERMAN FC and the CD Anagumba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patricio Caraduje had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Jaime Camp's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Rodney Frontera struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Patricio Caraduje didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Anagumba. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Pelegri couldn't finish the play.
