In the 16th minute, Estacio Munozcano made a precise shot to the right of Erick Alberdi. Tu ñaña ya es de todos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 18 played minutes Balsalito FC got a freekick which was hit by Estacio Munozcano. Peter Hernan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iachetti Consul, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Balsalito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iachetti Consul came free, but Peter Hernan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Balsalito FC's Estacio Munozcano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erick Alberdi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erick Alberdi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ximenez Alsina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ximenez Alsina came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Balsalito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ximenez Alsina couldn't finish the play. Estacio Munozcano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Escobar Ubach to make the kick off. Costante Verga hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Díaz Riera during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erick Alberdi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Erick Alberdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ximenez Alsina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute Estacio Munozcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erick Alberdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costante Verga might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erick Alberdi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Costante Verga ran back to his position shaking his head. Costante Verga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Balsalito FC's Gian-Carlo Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Balsalito FC's Costante Verga got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ximenez Alsina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gian-Carlo Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erick Alberdi having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Balsalito FC had played much better football throughout.
