Darío Ocharan came out and tried to block the shot, but Xines Ruiloba slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. 7 minutes into the match, Xines Ruiloba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Darío Ocharan. Robalino FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xines Ruiloba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 19 played minutes Kage Bunshin © GYE got a freekick which was hit by Xusto Tegeiro. 25 minutes into the game, Kléber Lormendez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Robalino FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kage Bunshin © GYE the free kick. Kléber Lormendez kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Robalino FC's Darío Ocharan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Robalino FC from getting a goal against them. Moises Echandi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Darío Ocharan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Robalino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Echandi came free, but Darío Ocharan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Moises Echandi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darío Ocharan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Echandi to strike the kick off in the second half. Teofilio Tamayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Xantalen Celis made a huge save. 60 minutes into the match, Kage Bunshin © GYE's goalkeeper Xantalen Celis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilio Tamayo. If Teofilio Tamayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute Moises Echandi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darío Ocharan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Kage Bunshin © GYE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pio Tanasio to maneuver through the defense. Enrico Doral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xantalen Celis made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Teofilio Tamayo sent off a good shot on target. If Xines Ruiloba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kage Bunshin © GYE! When the match had been going on for 77 minutes, Robalino FC's Enrico Doral got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Xantalen Celis. Xines Ruiloba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darío Ocharan having to interfere. Xines Ruiloba scored 4-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Darío Ocharan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Xines Ruiloba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robalino FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
