When Zorion Herruz came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Robalino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zorion Herruz couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Zorion Herruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodriguez Alcala was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. The supporters of Robalino FC booed when Pucala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Castellon didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Rodriguez Alcala managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Robalino FC's Teofilio Tamayo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pucala's Sotomayor Lasarte got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodriguez Alcala was a little too slow when Zorion Herruz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sotomayor Lasarte was the one to do the kick off. Zorion Herruz scored 3-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodriguez Alcala, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
