Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Erosa in the 4th minute of play forced Liga de Quito's goalkeeper Zelipe Cela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zelipe Cela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Erosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Rodolfo Erosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zelipe Cela having to interfere. When Rodolfo Erosa came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the DarkPunisher fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Erosa couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Liga de Quito's zone, Norberto Nicola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zelipe Cela came out of the goal and Norberto Nicola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xurxo Acevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Norberto Nicola struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Zelipe Cela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DarkPunisher. 30 minutes into the match, Liga de Quito's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Erosa came free, but Zelipe Cela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Erosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Zelipe Cela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zelipe Cela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Nicola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zelipe Cela came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by DarkPunisher's Rodolfo Erosa. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Erosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Texeira Hurtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Baldeón Regalado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Erosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Norberto Nicola made the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Erosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zelipe Cela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodolfo Erosa ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodríguez Basterra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldeón Regalado having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Erosa got free with Zelipe Cela in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norberto Nicola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zelipe Cela having to interfere. The supporters of Liga de Quito booed when DarkPunisher was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Baranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asensio Zumel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rodríguez Basterra came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Liga de Quito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodríguez Basterra couldn't finish the play. After having played for 75 minutes, Asensio Zumel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liga de Quito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asensio Zumel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodríguez Basterra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Xurxo Acevedo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. In the 82nd match minute, Liga de Quito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xurxo Acevedo to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Erosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zelipe Cela having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Liga de Quito were awarded a corner. Salas Torcida went to the cornerflag to take it. After 94 minutes DarkPunisher's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Salas Torcida who took care of the corner kick. 97 minutes into the game, Norberto Nicola recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zelipe Cela. Norberto Nicola showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. DarkPunisher had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
