Lucas Bricianos started the match with the kick off. If Virgilio Cumbres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murillo Toranzo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Villota Ocariz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Lucas Bricianos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Green Lanterns United getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Lucas Bricianos hit a great ball. Villota Ocariz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murillo Toranzo in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Alessandro Rigueiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Green Lanterns United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro Rigueiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Desiderio Feliph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Green Lanterns United's Alessandro Rigueiro got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Virgilio Cumbres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Villota Ocariz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Murillo Toranzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Green Lanterns United booed when El Zunac United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justavino Astonzas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Lucas Bricianos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Entrala during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, El Zunac United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Entrala to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Desiderio Feliph made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Green Lanterns United booed when El Zunac United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justavino Astonzas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Bricianos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Asensio Ameztoy kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, El Zunac United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Feliph to maneuver through the defense. Villota Ocariz came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Green Lanterns United's Lucas Bricianos. But to his dismay, Lucas Bricianos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Villota Ocariz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Murillo Toranzo went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 76th minute Murillo Toranzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Villota Ocariz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Bricianos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Villota Ocariz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murillo Toranzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villota Ocariz having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Virgilio Cumbres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green Lanterns United's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Cumbres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Villota Ocariz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Murillo Toranzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Villota Ocariz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alonzo Imendia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in El Zunac United's zone, Murillo Toranzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Villota Ocariz came out of the goal and Murillo Toranzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Green Lanterns United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
