Manuel Carneiro made a great header on Ayora SC's corner, it was just that Carito FC's Hidalgo Campderros managed to reach the ball for a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cortez Harroyo to make the kick off. Santiago Fuentecilla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hidalgo Campderros. Carito FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hidalgo Campderros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute.
