But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zayvius Asturiano couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute of the match, Henry Jordo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cristian Giraldo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cristian Giraldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marquez Heso went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Coltapamba SC's Carnero Besosa got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Henry Jordo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Coltapamba SC were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Chachacito's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Moises Tormejon took the corner. Rafael Creus hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Henry Jordo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39thth minute of the game Henry Jordo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chachacito's Cristian Giraldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marquez Heso struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Cristian Giraldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coltapamba SC. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Jordo in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Giraldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Coltapamba SC's Marquez Heso got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Rafael Creus fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chachacito's protests and gave Rafael Creus a yellow card for diving instead. Chachacito's Cristian Giraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquez Heso in the 67th minute of play. Henry Jordo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Cristian Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marquez Heso scored 2-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Giraldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th minute, Henry Jordo made a precise shot to the right of Cristian Giraldo. Chachacito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Cristian Giraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Jordo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 played minutes Chachacito got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Creus. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Henry Jordo sped through Chachacito's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristian Giraldo. Henry Jordo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marquez Heso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Jordo struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Cristian Giraldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coltapamba SC. Zabal Olañeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Eugenio Armendarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coltapamba SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
