Coyette Fonoll came out of the goal and Maximo Andia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Ferran got free with Victorino Boñar in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chiquil's Maximo Andia got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximo Andia in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Coyette Fonoll saved Alacranes SC from getting behind. Chiquil's Maximo Andia got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentine Gama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Cristobal Vea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute of the match Paco Rojica shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Coyette Fonoll showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximo Andia to strike the kick off in the second half. Chiquil's Maximo Andia got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Chiquil's zone, Rosero Ceniceros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Boñar came out of the goal and Rosero Ceniceros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximo Andia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Coyette Fonoll skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Alacranes SC's Coyette Fonoll got control of the ball when Xulio Llerena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Coyette Fonoll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Andia, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Maximo Andia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Andia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Coyette Fonoll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute of the match Raimundo Cabezon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Coyette Fonoll showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Alacranes SC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Zuri Villaño hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Paco Rojica sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Alacranes SC's Coyette Fonoll didn't even have to move. Alacranes SC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Chiquil had controlled the match.
