Vimaro Gener got a throw-in 14 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Marlon Valdovinos. Anibal Ybarbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Campelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Mauro Mantecon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Anibal Ybarbo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Denis Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Tros in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anibal Ybarbo saved Universidad Catolica from getting behind. After a rather tough play, River Isla Fc's Ugutz Segarra got a free kick in the 41st minute. Vimaro Gener hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Mauro Mantecon notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Universidad Catolica's Anibal Ybarbo. Anibal Ybarbo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The wind increased when Miguel Tros made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Universidad Catolica getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Elvis Arrese hit a great ball. In the 55th minute Miguel Tros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Ybarbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iza Iruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Lucio Porras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ruperto Andinyach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th match minute, Universidad Catolica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iachetti Proenza to maneuver through the defense. Anibal Ybarbo was a little too slow when Ruperto Andinyach got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-5. When River Isla Fc's Virgilio Campelo in 86 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Anibal Ybarbo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a defensive mix-up in Universidad Catolica's zone, Ruperto Andinyach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Ybarbo came out of the goal and Ruperto Andinyach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Universidad Catolica's goalkeeper Anibal Ybarbo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruperto Andinyach.
