Spectators: 6837 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bagui Toraño took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Roberto Herrara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Villasana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pital getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ximenez Vuelta hit a great ball. After 8 played minutes Jovita got a freekick which was hit by Urtats Barbanera. Celso Guztros's late challenge caught a Jovita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Guztros helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pital getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Celso Guztros hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Bagui Toraño had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lisandro Villasana. Pital's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bagui Toraño was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Urtats Barbanera might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lisandro Villasana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urtats Barbanera ran back to his position shaking his head. After 30 played minutes Jovita got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Alzaga. Lisandro Villasana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bagui Toraño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Freddy Alzaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Joffre Divaichin fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jovita's protests and gave Joffre Divaichin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jovita's Joffre Divaichin got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute Urtats Barbanera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Villasana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Urtats Barbanera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Pital players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jovita were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ximenez Vuelta made a kick off. Urtats Barbanera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Lisandro Villasana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Jovita's Lisandro Villasana threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bagui Toraño, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bagui Toraño who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Lisandro Villasana when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Ximenez Vuelta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lisandro Villasana was a little too slow when Bagui Toraño got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-2. After 60 played minutes Jovita got a freekick which was hit by Joffre Divaichin. In the 64th minute Bagui Toraño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Villasana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lisandro Villasana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urtats Barbanera in the 65th minute. Jovita's Bagui Toraño got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Jovita booed when Pital was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venceslas Mayorga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urtats Barbanera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lisandro Villasana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Lisandro Villasana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bagui Toraño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Ramos Irizarry suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 88 minutes into the game, Leonardo Gilavert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pital's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jovita the free kick. Jovita's Lara Pozos was substituted for Ramos Irizarry. In the 89th minute, Leonardo Gilavert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urtats Barbanera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Lisandro Villasana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urtats Barbanera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Jovita could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pital throughout the match.
