Spectators: 6828 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lucio Enebro took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Xofre Monasterio fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mendez FC's protests and gave Xofre Monasterio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pital booed when Mendez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xofre Monasterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 played minutes Mendez FC got a freekick which was hit by Yoel Herce. Lucas Vallino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ximenez Vuelta in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Lucio Enebro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucio Enebro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Lisandro Villasana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lisandro Villasana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucio Enebro went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 19 minutes into the match, Pital's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Enebro came free, but Lisandro Villasana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Virgilio Carreras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisandro Villasana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Carreras in the 25th minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lisandro Villasana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Enebro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Camacho Ozaolaza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucas Vallino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ximenez Vuelta in the 42nd minute of the match. The Pital players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mendez FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ximenez Vuelta made a kick off. Lucas Vallino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camacho Ozaolaza in the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pital's zone, Cornelio Peñalba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Villasana came out of the goal and Cornelio Peñalba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Mendez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ximenez Vuelta came free, but Lucas Vallino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Virgilio Carreras made a precise shot to the right of Lisandro Villasana. Pital's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Virgilio Carreras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the game, Mendez FC's Virgilio Carreras nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lisandro Villasana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 71st minute, Agustín Tarriba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 played minutes Mendez FC got a freekick which was hit by Yoel Herce. After 76 minutes, De-la-Cruz Sarantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mendez FC and the Pital players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mendez FC! Mendez FC:s Lucas Vallino showed great skill when he stopped Hurtado Roque:s penalty. Lucio Enebro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Villasana having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Mendez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Tejada to maneuver through the defense. Camacho Ozaolaza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Lucas Vallino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ximenez Vuelta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 96th minute, Virgilio Carreras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mendez FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
