The referee ignored Ferchobol FC's protests and gave Armando Villafañe a yellow card for diving instead. 8 minutes into the match, Espínola Guiles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ataulfo Enciso. CD Ceilan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Espínola Guiles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 13 minutes into the game, one of CD Ceilan:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ataulfo Enciso had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Benjamim Secco's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Asensio Gordo's late challenge caught a Ferchobol FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Asensio Gordo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, CD Ceilan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asensio Gordo to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Ferchobol FC's Espínola Guiles ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ataulfo Enciso. Ataulfo Enciso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Ataulfo Enciso was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Espínola Guiles capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Espínola Guiles really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Ataulfo Enciso was a little too slow when Teofilio Greña got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 5-0. Ataulfo Enciso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geancarlos Urtuuste went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Espínola Guiles took a quick shot and it went in 7-0 without a chance for Ataulfo Enciso to make any attempt to save it. 44 minutes into the match, CD Ceilan's goalkeeper Ataulfo Enciso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Espínola Guiles. Armando Villafañe was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After having played for 51 minutes, Teofilio Greña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferchobol FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilio Greña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Teofilio Greña managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferchobol FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilio Greña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ataulfo Enciso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute, Espínola Guiles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The CD Ceilan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ataulfo Enciso should have stopped the shot. Ataulfo Enciso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilio Greña, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The throw-in from Jácome Vielva in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ferchobol FC's Horaţiu Comișel. In the 73rd minute, Leandro Aguirre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamim Secco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ataulfo Enciso. CD Ceilan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Teofilio Greña charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teofilio Greña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teofilio Greña hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Teofilio Greña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Weather Osma's late challenge caught a Ferchobol FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Weather Osma helped the player get up and apologised. Weather Osma kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Benjamim Secco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gabriel Unzaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataulfo Enciso having to interfere. Leandro Aguirre made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ferchobol FC's Horaţiu Comișel. Ataulfo Enciso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilio Greña in the 85th minute of play. Ferchobol FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
