A collision led to Azulez F.C getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Xinaro Ochoa hit a great ball. After 27 minutes of play Azulez F.C's Fabian Zaton was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Uhin Vielva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wilfredo Migolla. Azulez F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luzuriaga Urtubia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Unceta's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

If Mario Garay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marques Semprun kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Mariano Unceta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Luzuriaga Urtubia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Azulez F.C's Osorio Palenciano tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Xicu Ocejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luzuriaga Urtubia having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Xinaro Ochoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
