The supporters of ILEGALES F.C. booed when Jaramijo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Rodezno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severo Porfiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coyette Herrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severo Porfiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Cisquella in the 23rd minute. When Humberto Cisquella came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the ILEGALES F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Cisquella couldn't finish the play. Severo Porfiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Humberto Cisquella showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. With a little luck, Jaramijo's Severo Porfiro got control of the ball when Humberto Cisquella tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute Coyette Herrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, ILEGALES F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Rodezno came free, but Clemente Ita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 minutes, Matias Bouceda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jaramijo and the ILEGALES F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

54 minutes into the match, Valdo Rodezno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Clemente Ita, 2-1. In the 59th minute Coyette Herrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Coyette Herrea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severo Porfiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If James Leonor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Jaramijo defense, Humberto Cisquella kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severo Porfiro. The Jaramijo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severo Porfiro should have stopped the shot. If Coyette Herrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Humberto Cisquella cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Severo Porfiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Clemente Ita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo Rodezno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute Coyette Herrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ximen Arria charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ximen Arria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute Martinez Calahorra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Coyette Herrea in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severo Porfiro saved Jaramijo from getting behind. ILEGALES F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
