Jaramijo's supporters rose to their feet, but James Leonor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arboleda Armea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samaniego Lasalde got free with Severo Porfiro in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Jaramijo's zone, Samaniego Lasalde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severo Porfiro came out of the goal and Samaniego Lasalde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samaniego Lasalde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Porfiro having to interfere. Fernández Enestrosa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Severo Porfiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Jaramijo's goalkeeper Severo Porfiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samaniego Lasalde. In the 31st minute, Samaniego Lasalde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Racing FC's Samaniego Lasalde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severo Porfiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Severo Porfiro managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Racing FC's Samaniego Lasalde fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Severo Porfiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernández Enestrosa's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. When Fernández Enestrosa came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Racing FC fans jumped to their feet. In the 45th minute, Urki Proenza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jaramijo's Severo Porfiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Jaramijo from getting a goal against them. After 48 minutes, Valdo Rodezno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jaramijo and the Racing FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 played minutes Jaramijo got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Rodezno. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Portal to make the kick off. James Leonor might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arboleda Armea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. James Leonor ran back to his position shaking his head. Arboleda Armea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Portal in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, Racing FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Manojo to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Marques Merodo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Urki Proenza in the 61st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Severo Porfiro's left hand side. Severo Porfiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samaniego Lasalde, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Omar Beneit lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 67th minute, one of Racing FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Racing FC. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Jaramijo. Ximen Arria stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arboleda Armea. 0-1. Diego Portal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernández Enestrosa's late challenge caught a Jaramijo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernández Enestrosa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jaramijo booed when Racing FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernández Enestrosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Jaramijo's goal looked a bit too open when Samaniego Lasalde came free, but Severo Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Racing FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Urki Proenza in the 84th minute. Juan-Carlos Oseguera tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Severo Porfiro. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 85th minute. Fernández Enestrosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonides Ramila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Porfiro having to interfere. Samaniego Lasalde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Severo Porfiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Racing FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
