The tension between the Racing FC and the UD Corralito players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arboleda Armea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Leys, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Fernández Enestrosa hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Octavio Enterria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arboleda Armea having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Samaniego Lasalde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samaniego Lasalde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alfonso Urtaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braulio Leys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Arboleda Armea made a huge save. Alfonso Urtaran might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Polo Aspurua. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Urtaran ran back to his position shaking his head. After 37 played minutes, Racing FC's Omar Beneit shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Polo Aspurua came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Racing FC reached it. A collision led to Racing FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Paredes Garay hit a great ball. Alfonso Urtaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polo Aspurua having to interfere. If Octavio Enterria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samaniego Lasalde stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Samaniego Lasalde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Samaniego Lasalde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Polo Aspurua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 53 minutes into the match, Racing FC's Fernández Enestrosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Polo Aspurua narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Samaniego Lasalde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Polo Aspurua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UD Corralito's Polo Aspurua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernández Enestrosa in the 59th minute of play. Samaniego Lasalde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 61 minutes, Fernández Enestrosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernández Enestrosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samaniego Lasalde came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Polo Aspurua could save by the left post. Fernández Enestrosa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Polo Aspurua skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Racing FC's Fernández Enestrosa got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcelino Sabon kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Alfonso Urtaran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, UD Corralito's Polo Aspurua got control of the ball when Samaniego Lasalde tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Fernández Enestrosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samaniego Lasalde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Polo Aspurua made a huge save. UD Corralito's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Fernández Enestrosa scored to the left of an out of position Polo Aspurua, making the score, 0-1.
