In the 24th match minute, UD Tigua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Muelas to maneuver through the defense. After 26 played minutes UD Tigua got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Dulanto. In the 33rd minute, Sebastian Hernaiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sebastian Hernaiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Hernaiz in the 43rd minute of play forced UD Tigua's goalkeeper Jose-Antonio Lariz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Dulanto's late challenge caught a Freibeuter of Sankt Pauli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergio Dulanto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, UD Tigua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Dulanto to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Sebastian Hernaiz made the kick off in the second half. Jose-Antonio Lariz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Hernaiz's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cántaro Amada during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 59 minutes into the match, Alfredo Oria notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Freibeuter of Sankt Pauli's Juan-Alfredo Astiategui. Juan-Alfredo Astiategui was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juan-Alfredo Astiategui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Dulanto in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Freibeuter of Sankt Pauli's goalkeeper Juan-Alfredo Astiategui, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marlon Carrete took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juan-Alfredo Astiategui. Freibeuter of Sankt Pauli's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 84th minute Sebastian Hernaiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose-Antonio Lariz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Sebastian Hernaiz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Freibeuter of Sankt Pauli were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing UD Tigua to leave the ground with a draw.
