He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Xulio Prats. Abandonados FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maximo Holguin in the 30th minute. A nice corner shot did that Maximo Holguin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Xulio Prats quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 36 minutes into the match, Abandonados FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Mora came free, but Julio Clarabout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago Mora in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Clarabout saved Abandonados FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago Mora in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Clarabout prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 42 minutes of play, Codeiros's Tiago Mora made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Clarabout was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiago Mora took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Clarabout. Julio Clarabout dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After the first half Codeiros were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiago Mora made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Tiago Mora made a precise shot to the right of Julio Clarabout. Abandonados FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Mora couldn't finish the play. Tiago Mora took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Clarabout. Julio Clarabout dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Alonzo Boñar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Julio Clarabout tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Clarabout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Mora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Codeiros's Tiago Mora dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Julio Clarabout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Mora, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Tiago Mora recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Clarabout. Tiago Mora showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. With a little luck, Abandonados FC's Julio Clarabout got control of the ball when Diguinho Saraiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Clarabout made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diguinho Saraiva in the 87th minute. The audience was convinced that Tiago Mora's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Clarabout was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Tiago Mora received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Clarabout came out and tried to block the shot, but Tiago Mora slotted it home off the left post making it 1-9 in the 93rd minute. In the 96th match minute, Codeiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Oalo to maneuver through the defense. Codeiros's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
