The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Jimenez got free with Díaz Olaiz in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elar Quero came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletas de Cristo's Cesar Servin. But to his dismay, Cesar Servin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Samaniego Moraza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Elar Quero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemente Lloves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elar Quero having to interfere. The supporters of Atletas de Cristo booed when Stardust FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Jimenez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samaniego Moraza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elar Quero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Stardust FC's Javier Vozmediana got a free kick in the 37th minute. Stardust FC's Ledesma Mobilla got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vergaray Barrillos charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vergaray Barrillos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Atletas de Cristo's Vergaray Barrillos got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Ledesma Mobilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Díaz Olaiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ledesma Mobilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ledesma Mobilla to make the kick off. 1-2 became the score in the 56th minute when Ledesma Mobilla elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ledesma Mobilla in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Díaz Olaiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elar Quero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samaniego Moraza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samaniego Moraza might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elar Quero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Samaniego Moraza ran back to his position shaking his head. Antonio Jimenez kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Ledesma Mobilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 96 minutes, Ledesma Mobilla made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Atletas de Cristo's Díaz Olaiz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
