Samaniego Moraza ran back to his position shaking his head. Urbasa Planes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Lloves in the 5th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Diego Eguiara in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Atletas de Cristo's Cesar Servin. With his leg Urbasa Planes managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Atletas de Cristo's Samaniego Moraza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, UD Calug's Urbasa Planes got control of the ball when Pablo Sisalde tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Atletas de Cristo defense, Zuri Lario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Díaz Olaiz. The Atletas de Cristo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Díaz Olaiz should have stopped the shot. Díaz Olaiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Asteguieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yambay Delatorre kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Cesar Servin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urbasa Planes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samaniego Moraza's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute of the match Gómez Peregrin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Díaz Olaiz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Díaz Olaiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Miñon in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zuri Lario in the 28th minute of play forced Atletas de Cristo's goalkeeper Díaz Olaiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Díaz Olaiz came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by UD Calug's Fernando Morelle. But to his dismay, Fernando Morelle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Samaniego Moraza came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Atletas de Cristo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samaniego Moraza couldn't finish the play. The supporters of UD Calug booed when Atletas de Cristo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Proaño didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute of the match Hernandez Sopeña sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Díaz Olaiz skillfully saved the ball. Urbasa Planes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samaniego Moraza in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd play minute Pablo Sisalde came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Urbasa Planes. 1-2. Díaz Olaiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Miñon, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samaniego Moraza was the one to do the kick off. Urbasa Planes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Sisalde in the 56th minute of play. When Atletas de Cristo's Samaniego Moraza in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UD Calug's goalie prevented a goal. In the 59th minute, Clemente Lloves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atletas de Cristo's Pablo Sisalde got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urbasa Planes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Lloves, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Atletas de Cristo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zuhaitz Buzon in the 66th minute. The corner led Atletas de Cristo's Zuhaitz Buzon to fire away a dangerous shot which Urbasa Planes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Atletas de Cristo booed when UD Calug was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gómez Peregrin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th match minute, UD Calug was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zuri Lario to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of UD Calug booed when Atletas de Cristo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubendu Villaraud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samaniego Moraza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbasa Planes having to interfere. After 82 played minutes UD Calug got a freekick which was hit by Gómez Peregrin. After having played for 83 minutes, Zuhaitz Buzon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletas de Cristo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zuhaitz Buzon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86thth minute of the game Samaniego Moraza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Calug's Urbasa Planes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, UD Calug's Yambay Delatorre got a free kick in the 91st minute. A collision led to Atletas de Cristo getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Cesar Servin hit a great ball. Díaz Olaiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Miñon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. UD Calug were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Atletas de Cristo's much stronger midfield.
