Roberto Olan got a throw-in 8 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Vergaray Barrillos. A hard shot 10 in the game by Chico Carabajo from a close distance when the talented Díaz Olaiz managed to make a qualified save. Atletas de Cristo's players were relieved. The supporters of Carnot booed when Atletas de Cristo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Proaño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Díaz Olaiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico Carabajo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Díaz Olaiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Pedro in the 17th minute of the match. Telmo Olivares kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Chico Carabajo, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Atletas de Cristo's Díaz Olaiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nando Torralbo in the 28th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Samaniego Moraza made the kick off in the second half. Díaz Olaiz came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Carnot's Chico Carabajo. But to his dismay, Chico Carabajo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Gonzalo Pedro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Díaz Olaiz having to interfere. The supporters of Atletas de Cristo booed when Carnot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stalin Trilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Belarrinaga took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Díaz Olaiz. Díaz Olaiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Gonzalo Pedro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carnot's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Pedro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Díaz Olaiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carnot's Chico Carabajo got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clemente Lloves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Vincent Monterros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 82 minutes, Chico Carabajo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carnot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chico Carabajo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samaniego Moraza in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vincent Monterros saved Carnot from getting behind. Díaz Olaiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Pedro, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, Carnot's Gonzalo Pedro got a free kick in the 90th minute. Díaz Olaiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chico Carabajo went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Gonzalo Pedro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Díaz Olaiz was relentless in the 98th minute of the game.
