When Raúl Bolilla came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Atletico Audaz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raúl Bolilla couldn't finish the play. Felipe Mateo lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atletico Audaz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Atletico Audaz:s Delmiro Malfanti showed great skill when he stopped Xuan Fombona:s penalty. After some careless play in the Atletico Audaz defense, Xuan Fombona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmiro Malfanti. The Atletico Audaz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmiro Malfanti should have stopped the shot. Delmiro Malfanti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Fasgar in the 18th minute of the match. When Jimmy Unzueta came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the S.D. RAYO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimmy Unzueta couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the game, Nils Johnsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Texeira Frecha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nils Johnsson made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Jimmy Unzueta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Malfanti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Texeira Frecha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Johnsson in the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Lucio Ucedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.D. RAYO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Ucedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Lucio Ucedo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Delmiro Malfanti, passed just outside the right post. Lucio Ucedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of S.D. RAYO booed when Atletico Audaz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xabier Blanch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nils Johnsson struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Texeira Frecha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Audaz. Delmiro Malfanti came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by S.D. RAYO's Jimmy Unzueta. But to his dismay, Jimmy Unzueta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the S.D. RAYO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atletico Audaz.
