RAYO's Luis-Antonio Vuelva made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xzavier Saavedra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xzavier Saavedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Unzueta, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Lucio Ucedo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Xzavier Saavedra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.D. RAYO. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Unzueta in the 51st minute of play forced Bombillo's goalkeeper Xzavier Saavedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lucio Ucedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, John Trasierra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S.D. RAYO's Lucio Ucedo got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucio Ucedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 3-1 became the score in the 63rd minute when Lucio Ucedo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Xzavier Saavedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Ucedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. S.D. RAYO's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Joel Armida scored to the left of an out of position Texeira Frecha, making the score, 5-2. Xzavier Saavedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Unzueta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Bombillo's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Ucedo came free, but Xzavier Saavedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, S.D. RAYO's Lucio Ucedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xzavier Saavedra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Lucio Ucedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
