The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Futboro SC's goalkeeper Cortez Pla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garrido Portocarrero. In the 8th minute Fausto Churruca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Cerillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walter Cerillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xantalen Ramos in the 11th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Ingueza's Cortez Pla threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernardo Retana, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ubelteso Ortega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ingueza's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubelteso Ortega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cortez Pla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ingueza's Garrido Portocarrero got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute Ubelteso Ortega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cortez Pla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Churruca kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. With his leg Cortez Pla managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Ingueza's Villagra Bevia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Villagra Bevia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Cortez Pla made a huge save. Zornin Arteson made in the 27th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Velasco Azpe. 30 minutes into the game, Roris Horreo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ingueza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futboro SC the free kick. 29 minutes into the game, one of Ingueza:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Futboro SC. Xantalen Ramos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Walter Cerillo. 0-1. When Xantalen Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Futboro SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xantalen Ramos couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Futboro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Roris Horreo came free, but Cortez Pla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Ubelteso Ortega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cortez Pla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cortez Pla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garrido Portocarrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xantalen Ramos to strike the kick off in the second half. Futboro SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Xantalen Ramos in the 52nd minute. Cortez Pla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubelteso Ortega, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Fausto Churruca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cortez Pla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villagra Bevia in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Futboro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ubelteso Ortega came free, but Cortez Pla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Churruca in the 69th minute of play forced Ingueza's goalkeeper Walter Cerillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingueza's Walter Cerillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Churruca in the 70th minute of play. Cortez Pla came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ingueza's Villagra Bevia. But to his dismay, Villagra Bevia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cortez Pla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roris Horreo in the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Futboro SC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Fausto Churruca hit a great ball. When Villagra Bevia came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Ingueza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Villagra Bevia couldn't finish the play. Cortez Pla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Villagra Bevia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Futboro SC's Roldan Tigero managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zornin Arteson in the 85 minute of the game. Walter Cerillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Churruca in the 89th minute of play. The throw-in from Zornin Arteson in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Futboro SC's Roldan Tigero. William Cal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Walter Cerillo made a huge save.
