In the 7th minute Jimmy Unzueta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zigor Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Jimmy Unzueta made a precise shot to the right of Zigor Erauso. CHUKUFU's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jimmy Unzueta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bohórquez Tolentin's late challenge caught a S.D. RAYO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bohórquez Tolentin helped the player get up and apologised. CHUKUFU's Zigor Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Ucedo in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Xacintu Valino managed to get in a good position for a shot. CHUKUFU's supporters rose to their feet, but Xacintu Valino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Texeira Frecha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 42 played minutes CHUKUFU got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Langayo. In the 47thth minute of the game Jimmy Unzueta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CHUKUFU's Zigor Erauso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xacintu Valino was the one to do the kick off. Alberto Marines hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Texeira Frecha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xacintu Valino in the 57th minute of play. When Obregón Represa fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.D. RAYO's protests and gave Obregón Represa a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes S.D. RAYO got a freekick which was hit by Obregón Represa. 69 minutes into the match, CHUKUFU's Rocio Elguera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Texeira Frecha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucio Ucedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zigor Erauso having to interfere. Anibal Langayo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. If Lucio Ucedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Jimmy Unzueta managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.D. RAYO's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimmy Unzueta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zigor Erauso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bohórquez Tolentin kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. S.D. RAYO played a much better game than CHUKUFU and deserved their victory. The CHUKUFU players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
