UD Shirpud's Xaime Dameda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Sobrado in the 4th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the game Criban Criales made a throw-in which Miguel Carredelo played forward. 10 minutes into the game, AKATSUKIS FC's Paco Helguera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xaime Dameda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 14 played minutes AKATSUKIS FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Rafales. Paco Helguera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xaime Dameda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Juan Sobrado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xaime Dameda. UD Shirpud's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Sobrado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Timoteo Porcayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 minutes, Alonzo Gallinal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AKATSUKIS FC and the UD Shirpud players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes AKATSUKIS FC got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Gallinal. With an all-out effort, UD Shirpud's Amadeu Alvarenga threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Agustin Herbella, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paco Helguera in the 37th minute of play forced UD Shirpud's goalkeeper Xaime Dameda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Paco Helguera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xaime Dameda. UD Shirpud's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paco Helguera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 43 minutes into the game, Criban Criales threw the ball into play from the sideline. AKATSUKIS FC's Harold Holsmuller quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Paco Helguera struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Xaime Dameda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AKATSUKIS FC. Juan Sobrado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

In the 54th minute, Juan Sobrado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AKATSUKIS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. When Harold Holsmuller came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the AKATSUKIS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harold Holsmuller couldn't finish the play. In the 76th play minute Juan Sobrado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Xaime Dameda. 0-6. If Harold Holsmuller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AKATSUKIS FC's Paco Helguera got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Timoteo Porcayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Juan Sobrado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xaime Dameda. UD Shirpud's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Sobrado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Xaime Dameda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alonzo Gallinal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 89 minute of play. The supporters of AKATSUKIS FC booed when UD Shirpud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Herbella didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in UD Shirpud's zone, Juan Sobrado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xaime Dameda came out of the goal and Juan Sobrado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
