When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Zubillaga made a kick off. Alfredo Sosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aral Olcay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Elias Arnedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Zubillaga in the 56th minute of play. If Rubio Irala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CD Cohambi made a substitution. Nacho Fernandes replaced Clemente Novoa. If Bogumil Kilarski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 68th minute, Su Di hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute Alfredo Sosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aral Olcay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aral Olcay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Sosa in the 72nd minute. In the 80th minute, Alfredo Sosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
