Udalaitz Solares helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in AFC's zone, Inocencio Tarresola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venceslas Erus came out of the goal and Inocencio Tarresola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bagui Iturrate in the 24th minute of play forced Azulgranas's goalkeeper Łukasz Fabiański to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Łukasz Fabiański showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ur Arri, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. AFC's Vito Eguia got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute Marco Zust shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venceslas Erus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sánchez Castruita made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Zust in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. Azulgranas had played much better football throughout.
