When Patricio Jakes came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Revolución Joao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Jakes couldn't finish the play.

Pataconazul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fleitas Bullon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Jakes in the 65th minute of play forced Pataconazul's goalkeeper Dušan Kuciak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alari Jaska showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Macorra, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. With a little luck, Pataconazul's Dušan Kuciak got control of the ball when Patricio Jakes tried to sneak it across the goal line.
