In the 2nd match minute, KRAKEN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xeromo Llarena to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leoverliz Carlos in the 4th minute of play forced Almendral's goalkeeper Xavion Rulan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Xeromo Llarena made a precise shot to the right of Xavion Rulan. Almendral's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Xeromo Llarena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xavion Rulan. Almendral's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xeromo Llarena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luciano Tremiño's late challenge caught a KRAKEN FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Tremiño helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Almendral got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Tremiño. Cássio Mansilha hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Yépez Cotes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almendral's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KRAKEN FC the free kick. After 23 played minutes Almendral got a freekick which was hit by Yépez Cotes. 24 minutes into the match, Xeromo Llarena notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Almendral's Xavion Rulan. Xavion Rulan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jácome Vilardell in the 27th minute of play forced Almendral's goalkeeper Xavion Rulan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Xeromo Llarena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Sandoval kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Xavion Rulan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Sandoval, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Almendral's goal looked a bit too open when Xeromo Llarena came free, but Xavion Rulan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Jaroslaw Psikuta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xavion Rulan. Almendral's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaroslaw Psikuta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Miralles made a kick off. Xeromo Llarena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Xavion Rulan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Xeromo Llarena took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Xavion Rulan to make any attempt to save it. In the 62nd minute, Xeromo Llarena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the game, Xeromo Llarena recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Xavion Rulan. Xeromo Llarena showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. 70 minutes into the game, Xeromo Llarena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Xavion Rulan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabian Sandoval's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xavion Rulan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Almendral's Calisto Tovilleja got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 79 played minutes KRAKEN FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Sandoval. Jacobo Urraburu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Miralles in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in KRAKEN FC's zone, Aurelio Martijana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Urraburu came out of the goal and Aurelio Martijana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When KRAKEN FC's Xeromo Llarena in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Almendral's goalie prevented a goal. KRAKEN FC's Xeromo Llarena got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xeromo Llarena might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xavion Rulan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xeromo Llarena ran back to his position shaking his head. 97 minutes into the match, KRAKEN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Miralles came free, but Jacobo Urraburu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 98 minutes into the game, Xerardo Arvelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almendral's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KRAKEN FC the free kick. Xerardo Arvelo hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. After having played for 99 minutes, Leoverliz Carlos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KRAKEN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leoverliz Carlos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded KRAKEN FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Almendral.
