In the 16th match minute, Scuderia Ferrari CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rey Griful to maneuver through the defense. When Arsenio Santander came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Scuderia Ferrari CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsenio Santander couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute Rey Griful shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marquez Ochoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alejandro Abella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Scuderia Ferrari CF's Alvaro Arratia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Scuderia Ferrari CF from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in SD Balda's zone, Antonio Elorza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marquez Ochoa came out of the goal and Antonio Elorza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roldan Negro made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SD Balda's Xurdin Caballero. After having played for 29 minutes, Rey Griful managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scuderia Ferrari CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rey Griful was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alejandro Abella blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvaro Arratia having to make a save. When Scuderia Ferrari CF's Antonio Elorza in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SD Balda's goalie prevented a goal. Rey Griful received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Marquez Ochoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marquez Ochoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Elorza in the 39th minute of play. When Alejandro Abella came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the SD Balda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Abella couldn't finish the play. Scuderia Ferrari CF's Antonio Elorza got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alejandro Abella to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Scuderia Ferrari CF got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Santander. Scuderia Ferrari CF's Roberto Oromi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carlos Mendonça in the 53 minute of the game. Urtzi Valgoma hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, SD Balda's Xavian Prieto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvaro Arratia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Scuderia Ferrari CF's Alvaro Arratia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Abella in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Gustavo Hesles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Urtzi Valgoma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Alejandro Abella sped through Scuderia Ferrari CF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alvaro Arratia. In the 73rd minute Sylwester Adamczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Arratia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marquez Ochoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Elorza's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Alvaro Arratia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavian Prieto, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Alvaro Arratia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Abella in the 77th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alejandro Abella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Arratia was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Antonio Elorza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Marquez Ochoa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 87 minutes into the game, Scuderia Ferrari CF's Danilo Cangas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marquez Ochoa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. In the 91st minute, Alejandro Abella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Arratia was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
