After having played for 6 minutes, Danilo Sotelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SwordFish's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Sotelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sánchez Alcano might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bayezit Özaktuğ. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sánchez Alcano ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Sánchez Alcano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bayezit Özaktuğ was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. German Reig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Reig in the 25th minute of play forced G2O's goalkeeper Ivan Lupea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zuzen Gama fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayezit Özaktuğ having to interfere. Mina Sancibrao made in the 35th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Zuzen Gama however managed to control. 39 minutes into the match, SwordFish's goal looked a bit too open when Zuzen Gama came free, but Bayezit Özaktuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Sánchez Alcano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to G2O getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Norberto Escanciano hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, G2O's Samuel Tabares got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Ivan Lupea came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by SwordFish's German Reig. But to his dismay, German Reig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when German Reig made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute German Reig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Lupea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 minutes G2O's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Friedrich Schmit who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on SwordFish's corner Danilo Sotelo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ivan Lupea quite easily take care of the ball. Sánchez Alcano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by G2O's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Friedrich Schmit was slow to take the kick. During this time SwordFish's players had a chance to rest. Sánchez Alcano took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bayezit Özaktuğ. Bayezit Özaktuğ dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Bayezit Özaktuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Modrić in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match G2O got a corner. SwordFish's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Espindola ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tomas Espindola made a great header on G2O's corner, it was just that SwordFish's Bayezit Özaktuğ managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to SwordFish getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Fabricio Restu hit a great ball. German Reig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Lupea having to interfere. Zuzen Gama's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Bayezit Özaktuğ skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Norberto Escanciano kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. G2O's Ivan Lupea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Reig in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see SwordFish lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
