The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wellington Ardines showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 22 played minutes Club Sport Emelec got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Marty. Leonardo Muc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martín Mandrak's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Leonardo Muc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martín Mandrak in the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, CD Guabillo's goal looked a bit too open when Martín Mandrak came free, but Leonardo Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wellington Ardines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rey Sebastian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Sport Emelec's Wellington Ardines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rey Sebastian in the 61st minute of play. Leonardo Muc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martín Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Wellington Ardines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Alzola in the 64th minute of play. Raul Viniambres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Ardines having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marcos Alzola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wellington Ardines was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Macías Nunez made a great header on CD Guabillo's corner, it was just that Club Sport Emelec's Wellington Ardines managed to reach the ball for a save. CD Guabillo's attentive Raul Viniambres managed to snatch the ball when Pedro Adriano made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. After 86 played minutes CD Guabillo got a freekick which was hit by Feng Jun Feng. 89 minutes into the match, CD Guabillo's goal looked a bit too open when Martín Mandrak came free, but Leonardo Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wellington Ardines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Viniambres, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute of the match CD Guabillo got a corner. Club Sport Emelec's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Macías Nunez ran over to the corner to take the kick. CD Guabillo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
