The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Alvaro Froiz made a precise shot to the right of Efrain Mascareñas. A hard shot 7 in the game by Blanco Bojorquez from a close distance when the talented Teofilo Lordi managed to make a qualified save. C. D. Evolucion's players were relieved. Alvaro Froiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Efrain Mascareñas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Froiz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barcelona Sporting Club's goalkeeper Efrain Mascareñas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona Sporting Club's zone, Alvaro Froiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Mascareñas came out of the goal and Alvaro Froiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Alvaro Froiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. D. Evolucion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. C. D. Evolucion's Alvaro Froiz got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan-Carlos Rosal charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan-Carlos Rosal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes C. D. Evolucion got a freekick which was hit by Juan-Carlos Rosal. If Alvaro Froiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uzuri Berlanga during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Barcelona Sporting Club booed when C. D. Evolucion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uzuri Berlanga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Alvaro Froiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Mascareñas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Alvaro Froiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Efrain Mascareñas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When De-la-Cruz Avecilla fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barcelona Sporting Club's protests and gave De-la-Cruz Avecilla a yellow card for diving instead. If Alvaro Froiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Froiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Efrain Mascareñas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Froiz went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. If Alvaro Froiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C. D. Evolucion's Stefan Clinckspoor got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, C. D. Evolucion's Alvaro Froiz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Alvaro Froiz sped through Barcelona Sporting Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Efrain Mascareñas. Efrain Mascareñas was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Xzavion Murguia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Xzavion Murguia really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. C. D. Evolucion's Alvaro Froiz suffered a concussion in the 78th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Villegas Sevane's late challenge caught a C. D. Evolucion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Villegas Sevane helped the player get up and apologised. C. D. Evolucion made a substitution. Ximenes Santiago replaced Alvaro Froiz. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barcelona Sporting Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! The audience was convinced that Ximenes Santiago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Efrain Mascareñas was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. 88 minutes in the game, Stefan Clinckspoor fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Efrain Mascareñas having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Uzuri Berlanga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded C. D. Evolucion left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Barcelona Sporting Club.
