Spectators: 8394 (Terracing: 6298, Seating: 1930, VIP seats: 166) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Javier Orengo got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Cango booed when Cuchudel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Santotis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Cuchudel's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Orengo came free, but Radomil Kosmatka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Reynaldo Moncada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cango's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Moncada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomil Kosmatka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 12 played minutes, Cango's Luciano Gama shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Radomil Kosmatka came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cango reached it. Radomil Kosmatka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilmer Peruyera's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Patricio Roches didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauricio Cebada went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Freddy Carabajo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. When Camilo Ugartondo fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cango's protests and gave Camilo Ugartondo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cuchudel booed when Cango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Ugartondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Cango's goalkeeper Patricio Roches had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauricio Cebada. Reynaldo Moncada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Radomil Kosmatka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camilo Ugartondo in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Radomil Kosmatka saved Cuchudel from getting behind. The supporters of Cango booed when Cuchudel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Bocinos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radomil Kosmatka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Ugartondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes Cuchudel got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Mendaña. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Reynaldo Moncada took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radomil Kosmatka. Radomil Kosmatka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Wilmer Peruyera hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Wilmer Peruyera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Camilo Ugartondo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Radomil Kosmatka, 1-3. Radomil Kosmatka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilmer Peruyera in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuchudel's goalkeeper Radomil Kosmatka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th minute of the match Cango got a corner. Cuchudel's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ubaldo Pola ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cuchudel's Fleitas Morales got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fleitas Morales charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fleitas Morales the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Obaya during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th minute, Eduardo Obaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Ugartondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Radomil Kosmatka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 minutes, Veto Candolias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuchudel and the Cango players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Cuchudel got a freekick which was hit by Veto Candolias. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cango had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
