A collision led to Hincha Pelotas FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Candelario Cortina hit a great ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Xurdin Rendon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hincha Pelotas FC's Hendrik van Eijnde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roman Zornoza kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Hendrik van Eijnde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rey Parga, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute.
